FESCO, Russia's leading container company, has launched a new service to India as the country's trade with Russia surges amid market closures. The service, called Indian Line, departs from Novorossiysk and stops at Ambarli in Turkey before heading to Nhava Sheva and Mundra in India. The fortnightly service is expected to take approximately 25 days to travel between Russia and India. FESCO's chairman, Andrey Severilov, stated that the expansion of transportation geography and the improvement of container services' efficiency are part of the company's efforts to adapt to the evolving international supply chain. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine last year, Russia-India trade has grown by nearly 400%.
