HMM Nuri LNG-Ready Boxship Starts Maiden Voyage Fully Laden

South Korean shipping company HMM informed, H Nuri, the first of eight new 16,000 TEU-class containerships designed as LNG-accessible, has been exclusively filled with cargoes on its first voyage. 
On 6th April 2021, HMM Nuri departed the Port of Singapore with 13,438 TEU loaded on board. HMM Nuri will transit through Suez Canal to the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The maximum loadable quantity of each 16,000 TEU ship stands moderately around 13,300 TEU regarding safety purposes of the vessel operations and cargo weight. 
The boxship is set-up for the Far East Europe service, operated by the port of rotation of Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Singapore, Suez Canal, Rotterdam, Humburg,  Antwerp, Southampton, Yantian and Hong Kong as the Alliance.
HMM delivered two 366 meter-long newbuild eco-friendly 16,000 TEU containerships in March 2021. And the delivery of other six vessels remaining is scheduled by lastest June 2021. HMM Gaon, the second 16,000 TEU ship is presently sailing towards the Port of Yantian, China. 
In the meantime, HMM deployed twelve of their 24,000 TEU containerships on the Asia-North Europe trade route which have made a total of 37 voyages at present date since last year's April. Among 37 voyages, HMM achieved 36 voyages with satisfactory condition of full load of cargoes.
