35 Refugees rescued by Turkish Coast Guard

Turkish coastguard averred that it had rescued 35 refugees and was looking for four more missing from a half sunken boat in the Aegean Sea.

The Turkish coastguard cited those migrants as saying that Greek coastguards had taken their fuel containers away, cut their rubber dinghy and compel them back to Turkish waters. A mediator for the Greek coastguard disproved the claims cited by the Turkish coastguard.

The Turkish coastguard rescued the refugees near a small island off the coast of Ayvalik in the western province of Balikesir, Turkey, at 2:45 earlier this morning.
